Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a strong Mechanical Engineer to join the Electromagnetics Hardware Design & Fab team. You will design, fabricate, and test LO apertures and RCS fixtures, working with RF engineers and other disciplines to create innovative RF and RCS solutions for platforms.

You will drive projects from concept to prototype and testing, while meeting tight schedules and communicating clearly. The role involves research and development orientation with some production effort,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree.
CAD experience with CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE, or similar.
Detail part / assembly design experience.
GD&T knowledge.
Experience with design/integration of air vehicle platform(s) or aerospace components.

Responsibilities

Design and fabrication of LO apertures and RCS test fixtures.
Collaborate with RF engineers and other disciplines to produce RF/RCS solutions.
Drive interdisciplinary problems from concept to fab and test of hardware.
Work under tight schedules and communicate effectively with project teams.
