Job summary

RTX’s Effector RF Design Department in Tucson is seeking an onsite RF design engineer to develop transmitters, receivers and exciters for radar and datalink applications. You will design CCAs, perform lab characterization, and verify module integration in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 2+ years of RF experience, familiarity with RF tools, and the ability to obtain interim and final DoD clearance. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF design and fabrication.
• Experience with RF testing and simulation of RF products.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Work in a lab to characterize components and verify modules.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital and mechanical teams.
