Job summary

RTX is seeking an onsite RF Design Engineer in Tucson, AZ to design and test RF hardware for radar and datalink systems. You will contribute to transmitter/receiver/exciter development, CCAs, and RF routing, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a lab environment.

The role requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of RF experience, with security clearance eligibility and DoD requirements. RTX offers relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience with RF design and fabrication.
Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
Experience with RF simulations and related tools (HFSS, Mentor DX, SystemVue/Genesys, ADS).

Responsibilities

Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
Work in a lab to characterize components and verify modules.
Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
Schematic capture and RF routing.
Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams.
