Job summary

RTX is seeking an RF Design Engineer for the Effector RF Design Department in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role focuses on the design and development of transmitters, receivers, and exciters for radar and datalink applications, with emphasis on RF circuit cards and system integration.

You will work in a lab performing component characterization, module verification, RF testing, and soldering/assembly, collaborating across power, digital, and mechanical teams while pursuing DoD clearance and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required; typically 2+ years of relevant RF experience.
• Experience with RF design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting.
• RF product simulation experience and proficiency with RF design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
• Design of CCAs with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab-based component characterization and module verification/integration.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, and mechanical teams.
