RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an RF Design Engineer for on-site work in the Effector RF Design Department. You will design transmitters, receivers, and exciters, build CCAs with RF/mixed signals, and perform lab characterization and integration. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across power, digital, and mechanical domains, working in a fast-paced environment to meet stringent performance and environmental requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RF experience.
• Experience with RF design and fabrication.
• Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with RF simulation tools such as HFSS, SystemVue/Genesys, ADS, Mentor DX Designer.

Responsabilidades

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters.
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals.
• Lab work for component characterization and module verification.
• Test and handle sensitive RF hardware.
• Schematic capture and RF routing.
• Collaborate with power, digital, mechanical teams.
