Job summary
Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks an RF & Datalinks Engineer to support the PM UAS Technical Management Division. The role requires technical leadership across RF and datalink system development, qualification, production, and fielding, with autonomy to solve complex challenges.
You will evaluate RF subsystems, coordinate with government labs and external stakeholders, and help develop acquisition documentation and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field with extensive related experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level clearance.
- Experience supporting complex technical systems or acquisition programs.
- Strong RF, communications, or datalink expertise and ability to present to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee RF and datalink system architectures, requirements, and future capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership across engineering, production, and acquisition activities.
- Evaluate RF components, waveforms, modules, and security considerations.
- Coordinate with government labs, contractors, and PM UAS stakeholders.
- Present assessments and recommendations to management and senior leadership.
