PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Senior Datalinks Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

This role provides technical leadership for UAS datalink systems, overseeing development, integration, qualification, fielding, and sustainment while coordinating with PM UAS stakeholders and government labs. The ideal candidate has extensive RF/datalink experience, strong systems engineering judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience supporting complex technical systems, engineering programs, or acquisition programs.
Strong understanding of RF, communications, datalink, or related mission-system technologies.
Ability to independently investigate complex technical issues and develop technically sound recommendations.
Ability to develop and present technical reports, briefings, assessments, and recommendations to management and senior leadership.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate a comprehensive UAS datalink strategy aligned with PM UAS objectives and future capabilities.
Serve as principal datalink technical advisor to Chief Engineer and PM UAS stakeholders.
Provide technical oversight for datalink system development, integration, qualification, production, fielding, modernization, and sustainment.
Evaluate systems, subsystems, and components involving RF equipment, antennas, modems, radomes, and related technologies.
Lead technical working groups, interface control activities, and acquisition forums.
Coordinate with government labs, contractors, and external stakeholders to advance datalink capabilities.
