Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking an RF & Datalinks Engineer to support the PM UAS Technical Management Division at Redstone Arsenal. The candidate will serve as a technical expert for UAS RF and datalink systems, providing leadership across engineering and acquisition activities.

The role requires strong communication skills, a record of presenting technical assessments to leadership, and the ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL. U.S.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 8+ years of related experience with complex technical systems or acquisition programs.
• Strong RF, communications, datalink, or related mission-system knowledge.
• Proven ability to present technical reports and recommendations to leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• On-site work requirement with limited telework eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support UAS datalink strategies, architectures, and requirements.
• Provide technical oversight for RF/datalink system development and fielding.
• Evaluate RF systems, antennas, modems, waveforms, and related technologies.
• Coordinate with government labs, contractors, and PM UAS stakeholders.
• Lead technical working groups, reviews, and acquisition forums.
• Develop and review statements of work and evaluation criteria.
• Communicate technical/programmatic considerations to diverse audiences.
