Job summary
New Peak Construction Company in Rexburg, Idaho is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination across residential and commercial projects. You will work with the Estimator, Project Managers, and Superintendents to ensure pricing and scope alignment from pre-construction through completion.
The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while communicating effectively with vendors.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or construction-related experience preferred.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, SCM, or business preferred.
- Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities
- Source bids from suppliers and material vendors and compare pricing.
- Coordinate with Estimator and Project Managers on vendor selection and pricing.
- Issue and manage purchase orders to align with project budgets.
- Track lead times and communicate potential delays.
- Maintain vendor files and procurement logs.
