Rex Moore Group, Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Agent in Reno, NV to source, buy, and expedite materials for electrical construction projects. You will partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Vendors to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance.

The role emphasizes supplier negotiations, maintaining procurement records, and improving supply chain processes. Day shifts, full-time employment with benefits, located near Reno.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and purchase order management.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, equipment, and services per project requirements and policies.
• Review purchase requests for accuracy, completeness, and budget compliance.
• Solicit quotations, negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Generate and issue purchase orders with accurate records.
• Track and expedite material deliveries to maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate with PMs, Field Ops, Warehouse, and Accounting to resolve issues.
• Monitor vendor performance on pricing, quality, delivery, and service.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing.
