Job summary

re:Cycle Reverse Logistics LLC, a stand-alone Amazon company, seeks a Process Engineer to optimize reverse logistics processes, improve time-to-repair, and drive continuous improvement in line with AWS/AIS goals. You will engage with Operations, Hardware Engineering, Software, Safety, and Legal teams.

The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, design of experiments, and cross-functional project management to reduce waste and improve throughput in a high-demand environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in a similar process engineering role; 3+ years using reporting/analytical tools (Excel, Tableau, Minitab).
• Experience with line assembly/disassembly processes and warehouse management/system administration.

Responsibilities

• Define, oversee and drive design of experiments to iterate process and automate repetitive tasks.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes via data analysis, software integration and hardware design.
• Identify and define new processes as necessary.
• Develop detailed user and functional requirement documents for scope and budgeting of complex problems.
• Deliver projects with clear communication, customer focus, and on-time execution within scope/budget.
• Develop/SOPs, visual aids, RAMS for safe handling and operation.
• Develop and review process flow mapping per security requirements.
• Create and implement RACI charts to clarify responsibilities and reduce ambiguity.
• Lead project management to inform stakeholders of responsibilities and progress.
