Job summary

re:Cycle Reverse Logistics LLC, within the Amazon corporate family, seeks an Automation Design Engineer to advance automation across multiple reverse logistics platforms. You will partner with internal teams and external design houses to scope, plan, and deliver strategic programs on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, KPI development, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories and BRDs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Automation Design Engineering with data-driven improvements.
• Experience turning design concepts into deployment or mass production.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Develop BRD, comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource metrics.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders across departments.
• Coordinate global monthly business reviews with metrics and narrative.
• Partner with reporting teams to monitor efficiencies and SLA commitments.
