Job summary

Amazon Lab126 is seeking a Process Engineer to own the roadmap for operational excellence across the reverse logistics network. You will define strategy, set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements with measurable impact.

Travel up to 25% internationally and domestically. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop SOPs, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor performance and enable cost reductions while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 6+ years of manufacturing and process engineering experience.
• Experience with Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize reverse logistics processes to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Lead stakeholder reviews to identify process improvement opportunities in cycle time, manufacturing efficiency, capacity planning, UPH standardization, and productivity.
• Lead technical site and line setup (line layout simulation, capacity modeling, equipment specs, system integration) and participate in run-offs to ensure designs are followed and discrepancies resolved.
• Define process engineering metrics and leverage Lean Six Sigma principles to eliminate excess process.
• Develop best practices, SOPs, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations of process engineering metrics.
• Identify and deploy best known standards locally and globally.
