Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Revenues Processing Analyst to support Housing Benefits and Council Tax changes. You will handle customer communications by letter, email and phone, ensuring accuracy, and work within KPI targets in a busy Revenues & Benefits area.

You will coach colleagues, share best practices, and stay current with regulatory updates. The role offers hybrid/remote options depending on location and workload.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC/Academy/IBS systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Housing Benefits / Council Tax
• Delivers under pressure with a flexible approach to work
• IT competent
• Self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Deal directly with customers via letter, email and phone to ensure service delivery
• Meet deadlines and standards with minimum supervision
• Handle high workload while maintaining accuracy and KPI targets
• Coach and mentor junior staff/colleagues
• Share best practices and lead update sessions for the team
• Keep knowledge up to date via publications and external training
• Maintain a constructive attitude and take on additional duties as needed
• Regularly exceed minimum contractual productivity and accuracy
