Job summary

Notion is seeking a Business Systems Engineer to own GTM-to-revenue data flows across CRM, CPQ, billing, and the data warehouse. You will design how data and money move between Sales, Finance, Billing Ops, and Data teams, and build automation that keeps systems in sync with AI-assisted workflows.

You’ll partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Billing Ops, Revenue Accounting, and Data Engineering to ensure accurate ARR, pipeline, and forecasting; you’ll work from SF or NYC offices with anchor days in

Qualifications

• Experience in business systems engineering, GTM engineering, revenue operations, or technical sales/marketing operations with end-to-end ownership across functions.
• Strong SQL skills and data warehouse experience with Snowflake or BigQuery; data integrity focus.
• Experience building integrations via APIs, webhooks, event-driven services, and automation platforms; Python/JS scripting a plus.
• Familiarity with finance concepts: quote-to-cash, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition; ERP like NetSuite a plus.
• Salesforce development experience: Apex, triggers, LWC; CPQ, Revenue Cloud experience a plus.
• Curiosity about AI and applying AI to workflows; Salesforce administration knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the systems turning signed deals into accurate invoices and revenue numbers across CRM, CPQ, billing, data warehouse, and integrations.
• Design data and money movement across Sales, Finance, Billing Ops, and Data teams; build automation and AI-powered workflows to reduce manual work.
• Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Billing Ops, Revenue Accounting, and Data Engineering to ensure data integrity and timely signals.
• Lead GTM foundation across tools; ship improvements to integrations or workflows within 90 days; automate critical billing workflows by year end.
