Job summary

UpGuard is seeking a Revenue Systems engineer to own the GTM technology stack, not a CRM specialist. You’ll start hands-on administering and improving our tooling and grow into architectural ownership of how our GTM systems fit together.

You’ll collaborate across CRM, CPQ/billing, and CS systems, and work on adjacent tools with a systems mindset. A strong AI/CLAUde mindset and experience with API-driven workflows are valued. This role is fully remote.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years hands-on experience building and maintaining a CRM system.
• Strong understanding of object model, permissions, and automation.
• Salesforce Admin certification or path is a plus; HubSpot CRM experience valued.
• Ability to interpret written instructions and propose architecture.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve the GTM stack - manage users, objects, fields, workflows, automations, integrations, validation logic, and data hygiene.
• Own access and security at the data layer with granular permissions.
• Build automation enforcing deal-stage gates, territory logic, and workflow actions.
• Partner on architecture with Rev Ops for CRM, CPQ/billing, CS system integration.
• Work across systems beyond CRM (sales engagement, CS platforms, enrichment).
• Document SOPs and process documentation for owned systems.
