Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a results-driven Collector to recover revenue efficiently under the supervision of the Office Manager. You will handle overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans, and maintain customer relationships to maximize collections.

The role requires strong communication, urgency, and ability to coordinate with service managers. Proficiency with MS Office and basic accounting software is preferred, with experience in Great Plains a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years in collections or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Call overdue accounts for payment and document attempts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and follow up regularly.
• Analyze delinquent accounts and recommend resolutions.
• Answer calls/emails and assist customers and managers.
• Enter information in tracking system for calls.
• Initiate small claims actions when needed and testify in court.
• Update credit bureaus for disputed accounts.
• Process credit card payments when applicable.
• Communicate status to Office/Collections Manager.
• Meet or exceed collection goals.
• Print, fax, and email invoices on request.
• Report progress of collections monthly.
