Job summary

Spotify in New York, NY is seeking a Revenue Operations Analyst to support our Collections function. You’ll own cross-functional processes, drive timely cash collection, and ensure accuracy in large data sets, with visibility and opportunities to grow within a global team.

This role expects 2+ years in Collections/AR/Finance or Data Analytics, strong Excel, ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Netsuite), and excellent communication with customers.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in Collections, AR, Finance, or Data Analytics.
  • Experience with accounting information systems, ideally in revenue operations at a global organization.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with customers.
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with large data volumes.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle or Netsuite ERP systems.
  • Excellent time and self-management; ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely cash collection while maintaining relationships.
  • Communicate high-risk or delinquent accounts to management.
  • Enter and maintain collection notes in the ERP system.
  • Identify billing discrepancies and initiate internal resolution workflows.
  • Collaborate with Billing and Sales to resolve disputes promptly.
  • Track metrics such as DSO and AR-related reports.
  • Assist in improving collections workflows and automation.
  • Follow established credit and collections policies.

Job description

We are looking for a Revenue Operations Analyst to support our Collections function. You’re someone who enjoys taking ownership of your work, collaborating across teams, and bringing accuracy and attention to detail to everything you do. What You’ll Do
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts and drive timely cash collection while maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Proactively and efficiently communicates high-risk or delinquent accounts appropriately to management
  • Enter and maintain collection notes into our ERP system
  • Identify billing discrepancies and initiate internal resolution workflows
  • Work cross functionally with the Billing team and Sales resolve disputes in a timely manner
  • Track key metrics such as DSO for Month End Close as well as other collection AR related reports including account reconciliations.
  • Assist in improving collections workflows and automation
  • Follow established credit and collections policies
Who You Are
  • 2+ years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • Experience with accounting information systems, ideally within revenue operations at a global organization
  • Comfortable communicating with customers via email and phone in a clear professional way
  • Strong Excel skills, and be comfortable with extremely large data volumes
  • Experience with major ERP systems required (SAP, Oracle or Netsuite)
  • Excellent time and self-management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines required
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment, a plus
Where You’ll Be
  • This role is based in New York, NY.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.

The United States base range for this position is $66,189- $94,556 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include:
