Job summary

Nebraska Medicine seeks a Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst to ensure accurate charge capture, coding, and reimbursement. The role audits revenue-cycle processes, investigates issues, and collaborates withPatient Financial Services and clinical teams to prevent revenue leakage.

The position emphasizes education, process improvements, and liaison duties to strengthen revenue integrity across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in revenue integrity in a hospital or healthcare setting or coding required.
• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Current knowledge of revenue cycle processes and hospital/medical billing.
• Current knowledge of code data sets CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS.
• AHIMA certification or CPC/H, CCA, CCS, RHIA/RHIT or AAPC certification.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure accurate revenue management and charge capture.
• Investigate revenue-cycle issues, identify trends, and collaborate with Patient Financial Services and clinical departments.
• Provide education and support to leadership and staff; contribute to process improvements.
