LifeLong Medical Care in Berkeley, CA is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle to lead billing and revenue cycle operations across multiple sites. You will drive strategies to maximize clean claim rates, reduce denials, and accelerate cash collections while ensuring compliant billing.

You will partner with the Head of Finance and clinical leaders to set performance goals, strengthen workflows, and maintain strong internal controls. A senior healthcare finance background is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, finance or related field.
• Minimum five years of healthcare billing or revenue cycle experience.
• At least three years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of FQHC billing, Medicare and Medi-Cal requirements.
• Proficiency with revenue cycle reporting tools and office software.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day billing and revenue cycle operations, including charge capture and submission.
• Develop revenue cycle strategies to improve clean-claim rates and reduce denials.
• Oversee payer-specific billing requirements and reimbursement processes.
• Monitor AR, denials, aging and cash posting; implement corrective actions.
• Provide regular KPI reporting to Head of Finance and clinical leaders.
• Collaborate with IT/EHR and operations to improve workflows and data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state billing rules and internal controls.
