Altus Community Healthcare seeks a Director of Revenue Cycle Operations to lead day-to-day revenue cycle activities, focusing on cash performance across coding, billing, posting, denials, and payer disputes. The role drives process improvements, governance of Chargemaster, and strategic oversight with executive leadership.

The Director manages a 15–20 person team, partners across departments, and ensures compliance with CMS, privacy rules, and payer requirements while optimizing reimbursements

Qualifications

• Extensive healthcare revenue cycle expertise including NSA, IDR, and TDI requirements.
• Experience in freestanding emergency departments or similar settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and charge capture.
• Regulatory awareness across CMS, privacy laws, and payer requirements.
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue collections, denials management, and cash realization.
• Lead a team of 15–20 through Associate Directors with a results focus.
• Govern Chargemaster integrity and drive updates to codes and pricing.
• Analyze claims and payments to identify trends and root causes.
• Provide strategic guidance on NSA/IDR and payer disputes end-to-end.
