Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver system and process training across areas within the Clinically Driven Revenue Cycle, including Corporate Business Services, Patient Accounting, Patient Access, HIM & Coding, and related departments. The role includes onboarding new CBS staff and occasional travel to hospital sites.

Responsibilities include Cerner Millennium and Experian training, creating job aids, aligning materials, coaching Super Users, and maintaining LMS course

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1 year of writing, editing, and content development for professional audiences.
• 1 year of training, revenue cycle, and/or project management experience.
• 1 year of experience delivering virtual training (Microsoft Teams) and instructor-led training.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Cerner Millennium and Experian application training, including process/workflow training.
• Create clear learning resources (job aids, guides, workshops, e-learning) to address knowledge gaps.
• Collaborate with departments to standardize workflows and training materials.
• Coach Super Users and validate new workflows for improvement opportunities.
• Deliver coaching and performance improvement support to staff.
• Assess training needs, coordinate requirements, scheduling, and delivery methods.
• Manage course logistics, enrollments, completions, and LMS grading.
• Monitor training trends and update curriculum accordingly.
• Ensure consistent instructional methods and learning content quality.
• Perform other related duties as required.
