Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Trainer to deliver system and process training across the Clinically Driven Revenue Cycle at McLaren. This role supports CBS, Patient Accounting, Patient Access, HIM & Coding, and related departments, with partial remote work and travel to hospitals as needed.

You will create learner materials, work with Super Users, and ensure consistency across training content while advancing curriculum improvements and onboarding for new staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (healthcare administration, business, education, or equivalent).
• One year writing and content development experience for professional audiences.
• One year training, revenue cycle, or project management experience.
• One year delivering virtual (Teams) and instructor-led training.

Responsibilities

• Provide Cerner Millennium and Experian training, plus related workflows.
• Create learning resources: job aids, guides, e-learning, curricula.
• Coordinate with departments to standardize training and materials.
• Partner with leaders to train Super Users and validate new workflows.
• Deliver coaching and performance improvement strategies for staff.
• Conduct needs assessments and plan training solutions across departments.
• Manage training logistics: scheduling, enrollments, LMS grading.
• Monitor training trends for curriculum updates and program improvements.
• Implement consistent instructional methods aligned with organizational goals.
