Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager of Revenue Cycle – InRule Administration to own payer‑specific business rules within InRule across our DME businesses. You will translate complex payer policies into scalable system rules and work with analysts to optimize end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash workflows with Brightree.

This role focuses on rule development, testing, deployment, and governance, collaborating with payer relations and IT to ensure accurate and efficient payer processing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare technology, payer configuration, or related technical work.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with rule development/configuration, testing, debugging, deployment and production support.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the InRule environment for Brightree integration.
• Translate payer policies into technical rules and logic.
• Develop, refactor, and tune rules and decision tables for scalability.
• Adhere to governance standards for rule development and deployment.
• Perform impact analysis, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of changes.
• Maintain centralized inventory of payer rules and dependencies.
• Monitor rule performance and identify defects or optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT and payer teams to translate changes into system updates.
• Identify opportunities to prevent denials and unbilled revenue through better rules.
• Provide technical direction and coaching to analysts without direct people-management responsibility.
• Support InRule–Brightree integrations and data dependencies across environments.
