Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Manager, Revenue Cycle – InRule Administration to own payer-specific rules within InRule and integrate with Brightree for end-to-end order-to-cash workflows.

You will translate payer policies into scalable rule logic, optimize the InRule environment, and collaborate with payer rules analysts, configuration specialists, and Revenue Cycle partners to reduce denials and improve revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare technology or payer configuration preferred.
• Experience with a rules engine, decision management, or similar tech.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical rules and configuration.
• Experience with rule development, testing, deployment, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Own the InRule environment, including authoring, testing, deployment and optimization.
• Translate payer policies into technical business rules and decision logic.
• Refactor and tune rules, decision tables, and components for scalability.
• Maintain standards for rule development, testing and change management.
• Perform impact analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of changes.
• Collaborate with payer relations, IT, and analytics on rule updates.
• Identify opportunities to prevent denials and unbilled revenue via rules improvements.
• Provide technical guidance to analysts and configuration specialists.
