Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Min. 2 years experience in a long-term care business office or related healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care payers and Medicaid eligibility requirements.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and partners.
• Strong organization and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with healthcare billing systems and Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Drive cash collections and reduce accounts receivable aging.
• Oversee daily business office operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage census, deposits, cash posting, private pay collections, and resident trust accounts.
• Collaborate with billing team to support timely submission of insurance claims and resolve billing issues.

Ausbildung

High school diploma or equivalent

Two years experience in a long-term care business office

Working knowledge of health insurance payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care

Understanding of Medicaid eligibility requirements and application process

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel); healthcare billing systems experience preferred

Previous experience in skilled nursing/long-term care
