Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a long-term care business office or related healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payers.
• Understanding Medicaid eligibility requirements and documentation coordination.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff, and partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel; healthcare billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily business office operations and financial accuracy.
• Drive cash collections and reduce AR aging.
• Manage census, deposits, cash posting, and resident trust accounts.
• Support accurate and timely submission of insurance claims.
• Collaborate with billing team to resolve billing issues.
