Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in a long-term care business office or similar healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and managed care payers.
• Understanding of Medicaid eligibility requirements and documentation coordination.
• Strong communication with residents, families, staff and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the business office in a skilled nursing facility.
• Manage census, deposits and cash posting, and resident trust accounts.
• Oversee private pay collections and Medicaid eligibility processes.
• Collaborate with billing to ensure accurate, timely insurance claims and issue resolution.
