Job summary

Serval, the AI-native enterprise service management platform, seeks a Senior Finance role to own revenue accounting, billing, and the systems that automate contract-based invoicing. You will shape how revenue, ARR and cash flow are recognized across multi-year ramps and usage-based pricing, partnering with cross-functional teams including Sales, RevOps, and Engineering.

You’ll design agentic workflows, document controls for audits, and drive a clean, scalable close process in a fast-growing SaaS

Qualifications

• Big 4 foundation with assurance or accounting advisory, Senior to Senior Manager level.
• Active CPA license.
• Deep ASC 606 experience from audit or in-house, ideally with multi-year ramps or usage-based contracts.
• Billing, collections and AR ownership for enterprise customers.
• Builder mindset: built apps, scripts or automations or eager to build agentic workflows.
• Systems thinking: design end-to-end workflows with data, controls and exceptions.
• Memos auditors accepted or reviewed by auditors.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue inputs for monthly/quarterly/year-end close and reconcile ARR/billings/revenue.
• Review contracts for performance obligations and allocate standalone selling price.
• Own accounting for consideration payable to customers and for ASC 340-40 commissions.
• Write/maintain revenue recognition policy for multi-year ramps and usage-based pricing.
• Turn contracts into invoices across platform fees and usage-based consumption.
• Manage AR aging, dunning, and weekly cash forecasts.
• Design end-to-end workflows, data flow with Salesforce and ERP, with review steps.
