Job summary

Relativity seeks an experienced Billing Specialist to manage end-to-end invoicing and billing operations for a global SaaS customer base. You will handle contract processing, monthly cycles, and cross-functional collaboration with Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, and Legal.

The role emphasizes process improvement, accuracy, and the use of AI tools to streamline billing. Strong analytical skills and communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of invoicing and billing experience, preferably with SaaS products
• Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, billing and revenue management tools (Zuora, Salesforce, Workday)
• History of implementing process improvements using technology
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Emphasis on teamwork and collaboration across multiple participants
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams and leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred
• Experience in high-growth SaaS, software, or tech company is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process the full range of contracts across product lines for a global customer base
• Handle all deal types: new business, add-ons, renewals, replacements, terminations, extensions
• Execute month-end and mid-month billing cycles across SaaS, license, and services
• Assist with Finance Queue and Salesforce billing tickets
• Manage customer usage commit balance, license extensions, and new license requests
• Maintain and update Billing SOPs, and assist with onboarding and training
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve billing efficiency, including AI tools and automation
• Lead or assist with billing-related project work including pricing changes and new product launches
• Own key customer accounts and serve as a billing SME for inquiries and escalations
• Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, and Legal
• Support ad-hoc projects, audits, and cross-functional initiatives
• Be part of a global team with focus on teamwork and guidance across levels
