Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join the Revenue Analytics team. You will lead scalable data products, define the data layer direction, and enable AI-enabled analytics across revenue functions.

You’ll work on semantic foundations, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver durable, trusted data for executives, analysts, and external reporting. This role is remote-first within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics engineering or related technical analytics role.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools (Sigma/Looker/Tableau) and cloud/data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Solid understanding of AI foundations for analytics: semantic layers, metadata, data quality, and governance.
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous projects and deliver durable solutions.
• Experience building scalable data products for multiple audiences and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and supporting GTM/revenue or sales ops.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue from design to adoption.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem and establish semantic foundations.
• Design and build durable, well-tested data products powering revenue reporting and self-service.
• Set technical direction for Revenue’s data layer, metrics, semantics, and governance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale Revenue Analytics through better architecture and tooling.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners.
