Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to build scalable, trusted data products for our Revenue Analytics team. You will shape data modeling, metrics, dashboards, automation, governance, and AI enablement across the Revenue data layer.

You will lead complex projects, mentor analysts, and collaborate with partners to deliver durable, high-impact solutions. This remote-first role offers equity and comprehensive benefits, including health coverage and stipends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics engineering, BI, data engineering, or related technical analytics role.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools (Sigma/Looker/Tableau) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake) and Databricks.
• Understanding of AI foundations for analytics, including metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous projects and drive durable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue from problem definition to rollout and adoption.
• Advance AI initiatives by identifying use cases and integrating AI into analytics workflows.
• Design and build durable, well-tested data products powering revenue ops, reports, and self-service.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer, including dbt models, metrics, and governance.
• Mentor analysts and cross-functional partners to raise data product quality and impact.
