Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to lead scalable data products for our Revenue teams. You will shape data modeling, metrics, dashboards, governance, and AI enablement to power revenue reporting and self-service analytics.

You will drive semantic layers, metadata foundations, and trusted data across the Revenue data layer, mentoring analysts and collaborating with cross-functional partners to raise data quality and impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, data engineering, or related technical analytics roles.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, and documentation.
• Strong experience with BI tools (Looker, Sigma, Tableau) and data warehouses (Snowflake) and platforms (Databricks).
• Experience applying AI tools within analytics workflows and building scalable data products.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue from problem definition through design, implementation, rollout and adoption.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem and establish semantic, metadata, and quality foundations for AI.
• Design and build durable, well-tested data products powering revenue operations, reporting, and self-service analytics.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer across dbt models, metrics, semantics, documentation, lineage, and governance.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale Revenue Analytics through better data architecture and tooling.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners.
