Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to lead scalable data products for the Revenue organization. You will convert ambiguous business problems into robust data solutions across data modeling, metrics, dashboards, automation, governance, and AI enablement.

You will guide the technical direction of the Revenue data layer, establishing semantic and metadata foundations for AI, and ensuring high-quality data across the team. This is a remote-first role with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics engineering, BI, data engineering or related roles.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, documentation, and modern analytics practices.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools and cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake and platforms like Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of scalable, trusted data products for Revenue analytics.
• Define and implement data modeling, metrics, dashboards, governance and AI enablement for revenue teams.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer including dbt models, semantics, metadata, lineage and access controls.
• Mentor analysts and cross-functional partners to raise data product quality and impact.
