Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join the Revenue Analytics team. You will develop scalable data products, drive AI enablement, and shape the semantic foundations and governance of Affirm’s Revenue data layer.

You will lead design and implementation of metrics, modeling, and reporting across multiple audiences, mentoring analysts and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver durable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering or related technical analytics role.
• Strong expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, and documentation.
• Proficient with BI tools such as Sigma, Looker, or Tableau and cloud warehouses like Snowflake; experience with Databricks.
• Ability to independently lead complex, ambiguous projects and deliver durable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives for Revenue from definition through rollout.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem and establish semantic, metadata, and evaluation foundations for AI.
• Design and build durable, well-tested data products powering revenue operations and reporting.
• Set technical direction for Revenue's data layer, including dbt models, metrics, semantic structures, and governance.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and scale Revenue Analytics through improved data architecture and tooling.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and cross-functional partners.
