Job summary

ŌURA is hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead the Revenue Accounting team and support retail revenue close across the US, helping scale processes as new retailers are onboarded.

The role partners with Technical Accounting to apply ASC 606 guidance, translates it into practical processes, and drives cross-functional collaboration with Sales, FP&A, Rev Ops, and Business Systems in a fast-growing, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including ASC 606.
• At least 2 years of direct people-management experience.
• Experience leading an accounting team’s day-to-day execution.
• Retail accounting experience including retailer reconciliations, deductions or credits, reserves and close support.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and translating guidance into practical processes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with large data and process details.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional partners.
• High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Demonstrated people leadership including setting direction and coaching.
• Strong systems and process mindset with data flows and configurations.
• Excellent communication to Sales/Commercial, FP&A, Rev Ops, and Business Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Revenue Accounting team; set priorities and drive continuous improvement.
• Own and support monthly and quarterly close activities for retail revenue; manage journal entries and reconciliations.
• Provide clear analysis and insights on retail revenue trends and risks to Finance leadership.
• Partner with Technical Accounting to assess ASC 606 implications and translate guidance into steps.
• Stand up scalable accounting processes as new retailers and partners onboarded; validate ERP setups and data flows.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, controls, and close support in a fast-growing environment.
