Job summary

Wellington Management Company offers a Revenue Accounting Co-op focused on cash application, revenue estimation, and journal entries. You will interact with relationship teams, support monthly processes, and help prepare revenue-related deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

The program requires Northeastern University student status, with cross-training across functions and a December 2026/January 2027 start window. Office four days a week with one remote day.

Qualifications

  • Collaborate with Treasury to identify receipts and reconcile accounts.
  • Assist invoicing team to prepare and review client invoices.
  • Support system enhancements and ad hoc requests from internal/external constituents.

The Position

The Revenue Accounting Co‑op will be a critical member of the Revenue Accounting team. The team is responsible for all revenue related bookkeeping and data that is used around the firm. Responsibilities include cash application, generating revenue and recording the monthly revenue journal entries. Additional responsibilities include the handling of account maintenance, regulatory/management reporting as well as ad hoc requests from internal and external constituents. Being a critical member of the team the candidate will gain the experience of having significant responsibility surrounding various tasks. The candidate will gain knowledge of and exposure to the firm’s products, such as hedge funds, and its impact to the firm from a Finance perspective. The candidate will also focus on maintaining account profiles on the revenue system which requires interaction with many different groups within the firm. The candidate will also be responsible for the processing of client related receipts within the revenue application system and preparing the accompanying journal entries. Responsibilities Responsible for daily Cash Application Regularly interact with relationship teams to effectively procure information Participate in monthly revenue estimation and accounting processes Collaborate with our Treasury team to identify receipts Prepare monthly revenue related deliverables Assist with the development of system enhancements Prepare revenue and accounts receivable journal entries Ad hoc requests from internal and external constituents Assist the invoicing team to prepare and review client invoices Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment Willingness and enthusiasm to learn on the job Previous related work experience or Co‑op experience is desirable Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word is required Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this program. Please note: This co‑op position entails cross‑training to ensure optimal performance across functions. The anticipated start date for accepted candidates is December 2026/January 2027.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is: $19-$35 per hour. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process. Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
