Job summary

Wellington Management Company seeks a highly motivated co-op in Financial Operations and Analysis to provide revenue reporting and analyses to senior management across the firm.

You will summarize and analyze asset and revenue trends, maintain relational databases, and design models and presentations. The role offers exposure to multiple departments, including Client Group, Global Accounting, and Portfolio Management, with cross‑functional training and a December 2026/January 2027 start.

Qualifications

  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau (Python experience is a plus)
  • Quick learner with the drive to learn as much as possible about the asset management business
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a sense of humor
  • Maturity, professionalism, and a high level of discretion are required

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for updating and distributing various monthly revenue reports and analyses used by groups throughout the firm

The Position

The Co-op will focus on responsibilities within the Financial Operations and Analysis group which focuses on providing revenue reporting and analyses to senior management across the firm.

Responsibilities include summarizing and analyzing asset & revenue trends by Product, Client, Investment Style, Team, Portfolio Manager, etc.

These responsibilities involve maintaining and updating relational databases and using spreadsheets to create models, analyze the data, and design ways to present it efficiently.

The Co-op will assist in providing supplemental reporting to various departments including the Client Group, Global Accounting, Financial Planning, Product Management, Investment Research, and Portfolio Management.

The Co-op will be involved in various ad hoc projects and analyses that will be leveraged by senior management.

Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this program.

Please note: This co‑op position entails cross‑training to ensure optimal performance across functions.

The anticipated start date for accepted candidates is December 2026/January 2027.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is: $19-$35 per hour

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education.

This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach.

Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
