Job summary

Groove Technology Solutions seeks a Retrofit Project Manager to lead retrofit technology projects from handoff to completion within our customer-focused teams. You will coordinate with Sales, Deployment Management, technical staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.

This role requires strong project management, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on managing scope, risks, Change Orders, and profitability while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience managing technology, construction, telecommunications, low-voltage, access control, networking, or similar retrofit projects is highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and internal leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple retrofit projects simultaneously from handoff through final completion and closeout.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects are properly staffed and scheduled.
• Serve as the primary point of communication for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project scope and documentation to understand what was sold and establish clear expectations for all parties.
• Identify scope gaps, project risks, site conditions, and potential cost impacts early in the project.
• Manage Change Orders from identification through customer approval and completion.
• Maintain accurate project information in Salesforce and other required systems.
