Job summary

TYG is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead live data center projects in Virginia. The role focuses on retrofits, infrastructure modifications and coordinating with owners and stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient execution.

The candidate will manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, change orders and project financials across large, technically complex facilities.

Qualifications

Live Data Center work or live operation facility/retrofit experience required or preferred; hospitals or industrial facilities accepted.
Experience with managing construction in a general, mechanical or electrical contracting environment helpful.
Ability to coordinate schedules with operational constraints and critical infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities

Lead high value live data center projects from start through closeout.
Coordinate work schedules around operational constraints, planned shutdowns and critical infrastructure needs.
Manage subcontractor coordination and maintain relationships with owners and stakeholders.
Oversee compliance, schedules and documentation.
Conduct site visits and ensure a safe, efficient and collaborative project environment.
Review projections, labor reports, safety documents and schedules monthly.
Contribute to constructibility reviews, phasing strategies and pre-construction planning.
Spot potential project risks early and develop plans to address them before they evolve.
Review and approve material/equipment invoices according to project budget.
