Job summary

The Missouri Star Quilt Company is seeking a Retreat Coordinator to help oversee occupancy and service for our Retreat Center locations in Hamilton. You will handle registrations for events, greet guests, finalize arrangements, and conduct retreat classes as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating with caterers, posting events to Eventbrite, managing surveys with Survey Monkey, maintaining the sewing area, and supporting instructors during classes while ensuring a welcoming experience for

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service/hospitality industry.
• Comfortable with public speaking and engaging presence.
• Sewing instruction experience preferred.
• Experience using online event platforms (Eventbrite) to plan, promote, and sell tickets.
• Strong MSQC operations knowledge preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends for company events.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills; detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills across cultures.
• Collaborate with a team or work independently.
• Take initiative, provide solutions, and achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning, retreats, and coordinate with caterers.
• Greet guests and check in at Hamilton locations.
• Post / publish events to Eventbrite at least 90 days before events and follow-up communications.
• Serve as sewing instructor and develop quarterly projects for retreats.
• Monitor common areas and ensure a neat, pleasant appearance.
• Provide surveys via Survey Monkey and summarize results for retreat manager.
