Job summary

Missouri Star Quilt Company in Hamilton seeks a Retreat Coordinator to oversee registrations, greet guests, and conduct retreat classes. You will assist with event planning, coordinate with caterers, and post events to Eventbrite well before the event date.

The role requires strong customer service, public speaking, and sewing-instruction skills, with flexibility for evenings and weekends during company events; familiarity with MSQC operations and quilting projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service/hospitality industry is required.
• Comfortable with public speaking and presenting a warm presence.
• Experience teaching sewing is greatly desired.
• Familiar with online platforms to plan, promote, and sell tickets for live events.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registrations for events and retreats; greet guests on arrival.
• Plan, coordinate, and support retreats; work with caterers and during meals.
• Deliver sewing instruction and guide attendees through projects.
• Publish events to Eventbrite at least 90 days before start date.
• Check in guests, answer questions, and resolve issues during events.
• Monitor spaces for cleanliness and manage sewing machines between sessions.
