Job summary

Missouri Star Quilt Company in Hamilton, Missouri is seeking a dedicated Retreat Coordinator to help oversee occupancy and services for our Retreat Center. You will register guests, greet arrivals, assist with event logistics, and conduct retreat classes as needed.

The role requires strong customer service, comfort with public speaking, sewing-instruction experience, and the ability to coordinate with caterers, instructors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service/hospitality required.
• Public speaking and engaging presence desired.
• Sewing instruction experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google apps, email and browsers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event planning, retreats, and coordinate with caterers.
• Serve as sewing instructor for company-sponsored retreats.
• Publish events to Eventbrite 90+ days in advance.
• Greet guests, check-in, and provide directions.
• Review procedures with attendees and resolve guest issues.
• Send surveys via Survey Monkey and share results.
• Monitor facilities for neat, pleasant appearance.
• Ensure sewing machines are maintained.
• Plan supplies and swag bags in coordination with Retreat Manager.
