Job summary

True Friends is seeking a Retreat Host to provide welcoming, responsive service from check-in through check-out, acting as the onsite point of contact for retreat groups at Camp Friendship or Camp Courage in Minnesota.

The role is part-time and on-site, combining customer service, organization, and hands-on support, with on-call duties requiring responses within about 15 minutes during scheduled guest stays.

Responsibilities

• Review and assist with meeting space setup prior to events
• Assist guests and group leaders with check-in and check-out
• Serve as an onsite point of contact throughout guest stays
• Remain on-call during assigned guest stays and respond to onsite needs within approximately 15 minutes
• Check in with guests and group leaders during mealtimes and throughout their stay
• Monitor guest needs and help resolve questions or concerns
• Manage schedule changes and assist with adjustments as needed
• Communicate guest experiences, hosting updates, and operational needs to the Hospitality & Retreats Manager
• Help ensure facilities and meeting spaces are ready for guests
• Conduct general cleaning of cabins, public buildings, and other assigned spaces as needed
• Work collaboratively with Hospitality, Facilities, Foodservice, and other teams to support a positive guest experience
• Perform other duties as assigned
