Job summary

Paychex is hiring a Senior Retirement Plan Sales Representative to drive new business and expand our client base within the Human Resource Services organization. You will present retirement and FSA products to key decision makers, schedule meetings, and secure referrals through advisor channels.

The role requires strong prospecting, relationship building, and sales execution skills, with opportunity for travel and ongoing training to advance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 2 years of sales or sales management experience.
• Less than 1 year of Paychex experience and required training programs and/or certification by senior sales management.

Responsibilities

• Presents retirement plan and flexible spending account products and services of Paychex to final decision makers and end users to close new sales.
• Schedules appointments and visits potential and current referral sources to secure referrals.
• Prospects via phone, direct mail, seminars, and client visits to grow the customer base.
• Analyzes prospects’ needs and recommends appropriate Paychex solutions.
• Expedites resolution of client problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Enters prospects, sales and client notes into Salesforce.com for seamless selling and service.
• Projects a positive image representing the corporation to clients and community.
• Develops technical, competitive and sales skills; completes SAFE examinations and participates in training.
