Job summary

Busey is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant for Retirement Plan Services in Kansas City to support growth and service existing client relationships. The role involves responding to proposals, benchmarking plans, and coordinating onboarding and ongoing client reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in retirement plan service, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and present findings
• Knowledge of retirement plan industry trends and regulations

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to respond to proposal requests and support discovery calls with prospects
• Research and benchmark retirement plan fees, services and investments for prospects and clients
• Position solutions by understanding competitors and preparing tailored proposals
• Respond to technical product and competitive positioning questions for clients
• Coordinate and prepare review materials for existing clients with internal and external stakeholders
• Assist onboarding of new retirement plan business including compliance items and vendor management
• Communicate industry trends and regulatory changes to clients and team
• Identify process improvements within policies and service levels
