Job summary

Busey is seeking a Retirement Plan Services Internal Sales Consultant in Fort Myers, FL to support sales growth and service existing relationships within the Retirement Plan Services Team.

The role involves collaborating with the sales team on proposals, conducting analyses of fees and investments, and helping onboard new retirement plan business. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Robust oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills to process and interpret multiple data points.
• Knowledge of retirement plan industry trends, regulations and rules.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years retirement plan service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of retirement plan laws and regulations; on-going training.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to respond to proposal requests from prospective clients; participate in discovery calls.
• Research and analyze information for prospective and current retirement plan clients; compare fees, services, and investments.
• Understand competitors and position our solutions effectively.
• Prepare tailored proposal presentations for the sales team based on analyses.
• Respond to technical product and competitive positioning questions.
• Schedule and prepare review materials for existing clients; coordinate with internal and external vendors.
• Support existing relationships proactively and reactively.
• Assist with onboarding of new retirement plan business, including compliance and vendor management.
• Stay informed on industry trends, legislation and rules; communicate them to clients.
