territory, guiding payer coverage, billing, coding, prior authorization, and claims support. The role requires 5–10 years in reimbursement or market access in pharma/biotech, hands-on buy-and-bill experience, strong communication, and travel 50–75%.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience in reimbursement or market access in pharma/biotech.
• Hands-on buy-and-bill reimbursement, Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial payer navigation.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with CRM and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary reimbursement expert for retina/ophthalmology practices within a designated U.S. territory, providing education on payer coverage, billing, coding, prior authorization, and claims support.
• Manage accounts, analyze denial trends, and develop access strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth patient access.
• Monitor policy changes and escalated systemic payer issues.
