Job summary

Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) is seeking an Accommodations & Retention Coordinator for the Learning Center. This full-time administrative role manages student accommodation requests, confidential records, and liaises with faculty, staff, USASC, and Testing Services for accommodated exams.

The position supports retention initiatives, analyzes data, and prepares reports while guiding trainings on accommodations and ADA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology, or a relevant field.
• Two years of related experience; or equivalent combination.
• Experience with accommodations, retention programs, or higher education services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage student accommodation requests and confidential records.
• Coordinate communications among students, faculty, staff, USASC and Testing Services for accommodated exams.
• Analyze student and accommodation data; prepare operational, accreditation and annual reports; identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct workshops and trainings related to retention support services and ADA compliance; educate staff and faculty.
