Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries in Washington state is seeking a Retail Warehouse Associate to maintain inventory on the showroom floor and work with the Visual Merchandiser to ensure effective product placement. You will unload and load shipments, move items from warehouse to floor, and wrap items for delivery or pickup.

Responsibilities include documenting receipts, assisting with repairs of floor samples, keeping the warehouse tidy, and supporting cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain reliable attendance.
• Thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load products from semi-trailers.
• Arrange showroom floor and set up incoming products, transferring from warehouse to floor and monitoring quality.
• Wrap and store sold products for delivery or pickup.
• Communicate with the Visual team to prioritize floor and merchandise setup.
• Document product receipt and complete clerical warehouse tasks.
• Receive, distribute, and install parts for repairing floor samples as needed.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Perform building maintenance and minor repairs.
• Complete the weekly warehouse checklist.
• Help reduce store operating expenses related to warehouse functions.
• Assist with other duties and special projects.
